Every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. However, in public schools, the ratio of students to counselors is a staggering 480:1 (according to the National Association for College Admission Counseling). This overwhelming statistic means countless talented students are missing the guidance and mentorship they need to succeed in higher education.

Simmons Memorial Foundation has been committed to changing this reality since 1996. Our nonprofit provides individualized college advising and mentorship to talented students who need support navigating the complex path to college. Through personalized guidance, we ensure every student has the tools, resources, and confidence to apply to and succeed in college.

But we can't do it alone. Now more than ever, we need your help.

Your donation will fund one-on-one mentorship, college application support, and development opportunities for students determined to succeed.

Since 1996, SMF has prepared students for college admission and nurtured habits of mind that are essential for high achievement in complex learning communities. As a result, students who once had few college options are now offered admission and graduate from some of the most selective colleges and universities in the nation.
