SMF Spring Fundraiser Champagne Reception and Art Auction

You are cordially invited to a Champagne Reception and Art Auction on Sunday May 4, 2025 from 2-4 pm at the 1331 Capitol Overlook Lounge at 1331 Maryland Ave SW in Washington, D.C.

All funds raised are in support of Simmons Memorial Foundation's college advising, mentoring, and scholarship programs. 

Too many talented students fail to attend college, are grossly underrepresented at top colleges, or have limited success rates at four-year institutions. Even more tragic is that these students’ capacities remain underestimated, unnoticed, or underdeveloped. 

SMF promotes a culture of high expectations in conjunction with academic enrichment to bridge the expectations and achievement gap in higher education. SMF also places significant value on the development process rather than an exclusively result-based approach. SMF communicates to students that their life experiences are valuable and they possess perspectives that will enrich their chosen college environments, careers, and communities.
